15 / 365: Social Network and a Murder
There were hundreds of crows flying around near my apartment today. They were slowly cycling between several trees and rooftops... they'd land somewhere, hang out for a minute, and head somewhere else.
I like how there appear to be small clusters of crows together and looking at each other, and that every bird is at the end of a leading line :-) Perhaps being influenced by looking at social contact graphs frequently at work, the silhouetting makes the tree look like a giant, messy contact graph to me.
I wasn't initially happy with the shots I got, but I figured rather than spend time taking other shots indoors and after dark like much of the rest of my project 365 I'd mess around with this image in post-processing and see what I could come up with.
